Mango Float or Crema de Manga Recipe

This dessert is called Mango float or Crema de Manga. Mango float is a Filipino Refrigerated cake dessert made with layers of graham crackers, cream, and sweet Philippine carabao mangoes. This is a no-bake cake, super easy to make, and tastes delicious.

This dessert is one of the easiest desserts to make. It only needs 3 ingredients! It is a favorite Filipino dessert to serve during holidays and special occasions. It is served chilled or frozen.

For this recipe, I used Kremdensada but you can also use All-purpose cream and condensed milk as the cream. Kremdensada is a combination of cream and condensed milk in one can so it is easier to use.

Ingredients:

  • 2pcs ripe Mangoes
  • 2 cans of 410ml Kremdensada chilled overnight
  • Graham crackers 1 1/2 Graham crackers

Instructions:

  1. Peel off the mangoes and then slice thinly, set aside
  2. In a big bowl,  put 2 cans of Kremdensada (chilled overnight), and add vanilla essence (optional only)
  3. Beat the Kremdensada at high speed until it doubles in volume, and set aside
  4. In a container (preferably square or rectangle), arrange the Graham crackers as the base. As much as possible, make sure there are no gaps
  5. Add a layer of cream
  6. Then, put a layer of sliced mangoes
  7. Repeat 4 to 6 until you finish all the ingredients
  8. You may garnish the top part as you wish
  9. Refrigerate 8hrs to overnight before serving
