Creamy Buko Pandan Salad Ice Candy


Ice candy is one of the favorites of Filipinos, mostly during the summer season to beat the heat. It is frozen juice or smoothie and very easy to make. As a kid, this would be their favorite treat. It is being sold in sari-sari stores and it comes in different flavors. It can be made with fresh fruits, fresh juice, and other ingredients.

This time, I made my own version of Ice Candy. It is a Buko Pandan Salad flavor and it is super creamy and flavorful. It is full of ingredients and you will surely get refreshed. 

Ingredients:


  • 370ml all-purpose cream
  • 370ml evaporated milk 
  • 390g buko pandan flavor condensed milk
  • water (as per your preference)
  • 836g fruit cocktail - drained, and slice into smaller pieces
  • 2 pcs shredded young coconut meat (buko) 
  • ice candy bag

Instructions: 

  1. In a mixing bowl, put 370ml of all-purpose cream
  2. Add 370ml of evaporated milk
  3. Add 390g buko-pandan flavor condensed milk
  4. Mix well
  5. Add water and taste it. Add much water as per your preferred sweetness.
  6. It's time to pack. Using a funnel put a generous amount of coconut meat and fruit cocktail in the ice candy bag
  7. Pour the cream mixture up to a half level of the Ice Candy bag/plastic
  8. Tie the ice candy bag
  9. Do this step until all ingredients are finished
  10. Freeze overnight

Serve it freezing and enjoy!
